Winter Webinar 2026

The PIANOFORTE partnership coordinated by the French Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation (ASNR) has now administered 3 open calls for research project proposals to improve the protection of the public, workers, patients and the environment from environmental, occupational and medical exposure to ionising radiation. EURAMED restarts its webinar series to present two projects that demonstrate the importance of medical radiation protection to the success of PIANOFORTE and introduce innovations in the field to help better protect patients and staff.

The EURAMED winter webinar on Monday, January 19, presented the objectives and main outcomes so far from the SONORA project on safe, optimized and personalized radiology and radiotherapy procedures for pregnant patients and IMAGEOMICS project on optimizing Benefit/Risk Ratio in Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Radiotherapy. These projects began in 2023 with a focus on individualised diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and our speakers in the programme below described their contribution at the cutting edge of research.
