The 6th European Radiation Protection Week (ERPW 2022) is fast approaching, with the initial workshops and meetings starting on Sunday, October 9, and there are great events on many facets of medical radiation protection running until Friday, October 14!
EURAMED will be heavily involved in the proceedings, hosting its annual General Assembly for members and 3 sessions on medical applications of ionising radiation. The scientific programme is available here or via the QR code, and a list of sessions relevant to EURAMED is below.
|Tuesday, October 11: Medical applications on ionising radiation I||14:15–15:55|
|Topics: Flash therapy and compact proton therapy centers, diagnostic reference levels, lung CT and AI, patient-specific organ doses for abdominal CT, clinical audits|
|Wednesday, October 12: (invited) Hot topics in clinical medicine using ionising radiation||11:15–12:55|
|Topics: CT justification, lung cancer screening, radionuclide theranostics, radiation oncology, gonadal shielding|
|Wednesday, October 12: EURAMED Rocc’n’Roll project workshop||13:30–15:55|
