Offering an opportunity to fund innovative projects in vital topics of radiation protection, the European partnership PIANOFORTE announces its 3rd and final open call for applications. In the period March 30 – April 30, applications addressing the three topics below can be submitted for review by the call secretariat at the Polish National Centre for Research and Development. Consortia must consist of at least three organisations in different EU Member States or Ukraine, one of which must be a beneficiary/affiliated entity/external partner that has not been involved in PIANOFORTE.
- Investigating the effects of temporal and spatial variations in dose delivery on the risk of health effects
- Developing an integrated approach for risk assessment and evaluation from environmental exposure to ionising radiation
- Use of artificial intelligence and big data techniques to improve emergency response – covering radiological impact assessments, decision support, data collection response and recovery strategies and public engagement, communication and education
