We are pleased to share the opportunity for a 12-month postdoctoral researcher position to join a research group in radiation, clinical and cancer epidemiology at the University of Namur, Belgium. The position is targeted to non-Belgian citizens.
The position is part of a project that focuses on accelerated aging after cancer treatments, with particular emphasis on radiotherapy and radiopharmaceutical treatments as well as aging and public health outcomes.
The postdoctoral fellow will contribute to systematic reviews and to the development of retrospective and prospective cohorts of cancer survivors, including the collection and biostatistical analysis of geriatric, biological/epigenetic, quality-of-life, dosimetry and radiomics data.
Applicants should hold a PhD in biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, public health or a related field. Strong analytical skills, scientific rigor and writing, as well as proficiency in scientific English, are expected. Experience in applied epidemiology, biostatistics, R/Python, radiotherapy or radiopharmaceuticals will be highly valued.
