Welcome to our new member, Sehajpreet Gill!

We welcome a new individual member of EURAMED, Sehajpreet Gill!

Ms. Gill is a PhD candidate in radiation epidemiology in the Prevention and Evaluation section at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology (BIPS) under the supervision of EURAMED member Dr. Hajo Zeeb. Her research began as the coordinator of a project that assessed medical radiation exposure under the German National Cohort study (NAKO Gesundheitsstudie), later joining the working group CT Exposure in Childhood and Cancer at the German Commission on Radiological Protection (SSK) and serving as a technical assistant for the Radiation and Health Unit of the World Health Organisation. A major achievement there was development of guidelines for responses to internal contamination with transuranium radionuclides. Ms. Gill is also a member of the International Society of Radiation Epidemiology and Dosimetry (ISoRED) and the Early Career Scientists in Radiation Protection (ECRad) network.

With these sterling credentials, we look forward to successful cooperation in medical radiation protection research!
