EURAMED is one of many radiation protection research organisations invited to help draft the PIANOFORTE Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), which is a critical component of the initiative’s results. The SRIA is a comprehensive roadmap to guide the research and innovation activities within the radiation protection community. Key priorities and long-term objectives will be defined, along with a list of actionable steps to address current and future challenges within the field.
EURAMED’s representatives have contributed a draft section regarding medical radiation protection research concerns, and to gather the perspectives of the PIANOFORTE stakeholders, an online consultation has been organised to ensure alignment of the overall draft document with policy goals and societal needs, ultimately driving meaningful research in radiation protection.
