MEENAS represents six European radiation protection research platforms: MELODI, EURADOS, EURAMED, NERIS, ALLIANCE and SHARE. Each of these platforms has developed and is constantly updating its own Strategic Research Agenda (SRA). These SRAs are embedded into a Joint Roadmap in radiation protection research, and sometimes they are also part of larger SRAs. MEENAS has decided to showcase and promote the SRAs of the platforms in a series of three webinars in 2024.
The 1st webinar of this series concerns “Strategic Research Plans for Environmental and Medical Radiation Protection Research” and will take place online on April 18th from 16:30–18:30 CEST.
The webinar will cover the strategic research plans for environmental radiation protection research outlined in the ALLIANCE SRA and the strategic research plans for medical radiation protection research represented in the EURAMED SRA, which was recently updated as part of the EURAMED rocc-n-roll SRA. The SRAs as well as interlinks between them and connections to other areas will be presented and discussed during the webinar.
